International week for students in the Bachelor of Primary Education

The International week, themed ‘The challenge of choice’ takes place in our department of Education, from February 13 until February 17 2012.

Target audience

• 2nd year students in the Bachelor of Education: Primary Education
• Students from foreign partner institutions

Contents

• Brief introduction to the school system in Flanders
• Practical sessions about choice in education
• Expressive workshops
• School visits
• Exploration of the town and its culture

Practical Aspects

• Teachers welcome for a mobility STA or STT.
• Costs:
  • Travelling costs to Antwerp
  • Cost for accommodation if no hosting in family (exchanges between students)
  • Personal costs: a few meals and public transport in town if necessary
• Language: English
• Credit: 1 credit, awarded based on the active participation during the week and the group’s presentation at the end.
• Certificate of attendance delivered at the end of the week
• Place to be: Campus Noord – Oudesteenweg
